The journey of ACCESS FASHION has been an incredible one.

ACCESS FASHION was created in 2010 by fashion journalist and stylist Sabina Emrit. A reaction to the free falling number of online magazines and blogs that “just seemed to be coming out of nowhere”, it was a way to keep her work “safe”. As a graduate of English Literature, words, texts and stories meant and still mean a great deal to her. “I needed to be able to give my work a platform that was protected. I found it overwhelming how many people were suddenly claiming to be writers, fashion journalists and editors – all without any formal skills or training, often without much fashion knowledge but the know how to set up a blog. However, for me, it was so important to climb my ladder, and climb it carefully – without missing a step and often redoing a few.” Sabina felt she needed to create a resource for quality content across a digital platform. She has worked closely with designers consulting for their collections, launching exclusive content and news on the site and often combining her roles in one outlet with carefully curated features.

“I’ve walked in to showrooms as a STYLIST and have been greeted with comments like, “Oh you work for ACCESS FASHION. It’s a British Fashion Council affiliate right? We love it.’ And I’ve smiled quietly inside to see the reception it has received and to know the designers we’ve helped along the way with proof that digital media can really help to promote and further new talent.”

She now works in London and LA having established herself as a sought after and respected stylist.

STYLIST & BRAND CONSULTANT As a young fashion journalist Sabina worked tirelessly across publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour Magazine, Conde Nast Traveller and Esquire. Internships quickly led to fashion and editorial roles as her natural flair for styling and informed writing abilities were noted by those around her. Less than six months after embarking on internships and upon a recommendation from a top celebrity stylist, Sabina was given her first celebrity client, American music artist Flo-Rida.

Sabina has gone on to work with key names from all aspects of entertainment including sports, television, film, advertising, fashion and music. TALENT – Sir Ian McKellen, Ben Cohen MBE, Andrew Scott, Freddie Flintoff MBE, David Harewood MBE, Nick Rhodes (Duran Duran), Marina and the Diamonds, Elize Doolittle and Jacob Anderson. MUSIC – Flo-Rida, Pixie Lott, Imogen Heap, Rudimental, Bastille, Clean Bandit, Joey Badas$$, Gabrielle Aplin, Conor Maynard, MNEK and Lethal Bizzle. Styling press shoots, music videos, live gigs, TV, appearances and magazine features. FASHION WEEK – She also styles London Fashion Week catwalk shows with young British designers as well as working with luxury and heritage brands such as Mulberry.

GIVING BACK In 2014 Sabina was named Curator of the National AIDS Trust ‘Red Ribbon Campaign’ enlisting top British designers Lulu Guinness and Shaun Leane as the first ever designers to create limited edition ribbons to help promote World AIDS Day. An exhibition was held at City Hall by appointment of the London Mayor Boris Johnson. With the relaunch of ACCESS FASHION she is currently focusing on new fashion and charity collaborations.
