Walking in to the brand new Omorovicza treatment room in Liberty London, I have never seen a beauty space in the heart of a bustling city, so calm, peaceful and serene.  I knew we were right above Carnaby Street and relaxation wasn’t the first word that would have naturally come to mind, but once the curtains were closed, the music turned on and the colours of the room and space took effect, I had melted in to pure bliss – before my treatment had even begun.

ABOUT OMOROVICZA

I was able to sit and talk with co-founder of the brand Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza who began the company with her husband Stephen whilst visiting the famous Budapest thermal baths. His family had built the Racz Spa in the 19th century and Margaret was amazed by the healing qualities of the water. Enlisting a dermatology lab – a Nobel Prize winning lab no less, they began creating the beauty brand Omorovicza and developed a skincare range alongside treatments that provide the effects experienced when bathing in the mineral waters of Hungary. That’s the short story. Stayed tuned for a longer interview including how Margaret became my instant girl crush!

THE TREATMENT

My introduction to the brand was with an Illuminating Facial. My treatment with Omorovicza was easily the best facial and massage combination I have ever experienced. (FACT). Therapist Katia’s hands were like mini machines. The various facial massages combined with the way she was able to create an almost deep tissue massage on my neck, shoulders and lower back – whilst I was lying on my back – was a little spectacular especially as I was feeling pretty run down. She referred to her techniques as creating natural botox – and leaving the treatment room I was sure I could convince a few people that I had undergone some form on plumping and softening as everything just seemed brighter, tighter and more lifted. I couldn’t recommend the treatment more – it was beyond what I expected. And I’m super keen to try some products from the skincare range at home too…

To book a facial at Liberty costs £85, but the value is fully redeemable against two Omorovicza products purchased on the day. So you’re basically getting an amazing free facial, or two free products – whichever way you look at it. And I will definitely be booking back in with Katia as soon as I can. Thanks Liberty!
