Rapper A$AP Rocky is extremely hot property in the fashion world. Earlier this year he collaborated with GUESS and designer Jeremy Scott which saw pieces from the collection sell out immediately. And only a couple of weeks ago he launched a capsule collection during LCM in collaboration with one of London’s most coveted young designer labels J.W. Anderson.
And now – he’s been named as the face of Dior Homme for their upcoming AW16 campaign. He told WWD, “I mean, it’s dope when you can mix it. It’s all about taking two worlds like streetwear and high-end and kind of mashing them together. But when it comes to Dior, it’s just prestige and elegance in my opinion. It’s almost like Coco Chanel was for the lady.”
The film maker and photographer Larry Clark, actor Rod Paradot and model Dylan Roques also star in the campaign that has been shot by Willy Vanderperre, and styled by Oliver Rizzo. Dior Homme’s Creative Director Kris Van Assche said, “I really like (A$AP Rocky’s) personal style and taste. He’s a real fashion lover. He feels like fashion really influences his own work, and he has strong opinions on that.”
Yep. We want to see it all, A$AP.
