I was recently introduced to denim brand Joe’s Jeans and to say I’m hooked would be an accurate statement. Launched in 2001 – so a fairly young brand – there’s something a little different to Joe’s Jeans than what I’m used to – and I’m a denim girl. I think it’s that they get an entire collection – just right. From t-shirts (see my next Style Edit) to jeans, jackets and shirts it’s the dream wardrobe for someone like me who has to dress day to night, on set or heading to a movie screening with a client. And my favourite thing about the brand is how comfortable everything is.

“When in doubt, wear denim”.

One of my favourite summer pieces is their floral embroidered denim jacket, the perfect mix of feminine fun and casual chic. I just adore the detail of the ‘unfinished’ edges.

Stylist tip: as oversized denim is really in at the moment, if you ever wanna smarten up your jacket or you feel like it looks just a little too on the heavy side, turn up your sleeves! They’ll instantly change the shape of the jacket and make it look much like a skinny jean but on the arm. If you’re wearing bracelets and cuffs you still get to show them off too!
