It was a pleasure to be asked by one of my favourite stores Harrods to share my London Fashion Week looks. As an Editor dressing for the shows is always a task in itself. You have to think style AND practicality, which is a combination that doesn’t always come hand in hand. MCM’s backpack was perfect for both. The silver colour and silver studs made a great statement whilst being able to fit in EVERYTHING I needed for the day and some styling meetings too.
For the shows I paired the backpack with a green mohair and print jumper from Roberto Cavalli. I mean casual luxe doesn’t get any better than basics from Cavalli brought to life in the most candy-like shades. I also wore the best – yes best – leather trousers I’ve ever worn from Karl Lagerfeld.
“Ashish have brought a whole new meaning to the term ‘party wear’. No one does sequins like they do.”
For the parties I kept the KARL LAGERFELD leather pants on and slipped in to on one of my favourite pieces from ASHISH’s collection. ASHISH has been one of my favourite brands since they first started showing at LFW. They’ve brought a whole new meaning to the term ‘party wear’ and no one does sequins like they do. What I loved about this top was how wearable it was. Layered with pearls on the neckline, sleeves and trim, it’s a weighty piece, but very modern day princess for a night of fashion week fun.
